Extensive experience in construction chemicals and management

After studying chemistry, Timur Rönnert worked for many years as a sales manager in various companies. The chemical engineer completed an extra-occupational degree in industrial engineering and an Executive Master of Business Administration (eMBA) and worked for more than ten years as Managing Director of a globally active construction chemicals company. With effect from 1 April 2023, he has been appointed to  the position of Managing Director of MC in Switzerland and Austria.

"Mr Rönnert has many years of experience in construction chemicals. His wealth of experience isn't just limited to the field of admixtures, he also has extensive knowledge in the field of mineral building materials and in trade," explains Anja Spirres, Head of MC's Infrastructure & Industry division and member of the DACH Management Committee, adding: "We are delighted that Mr Rönnert is now part of the MC family contributing his rich expertise in Switzerland and Austria to provide the right impetus in order to ensure that we grow sustainably in our individual business areas and to be well positioned for the future."
